Consider Helping or Teaching
...
A child feels the warmth of your love and God’s love shown through a smile or a kind word.  Their response is a smile of appreciation.  Where does this happen?  Every Sunday in Sunday School!!  Would you consider being a part of this scene??  Could you serve for one quarter (3 mos.) during the school year?  If so, please contact Barb Race, 315-532-3725, soon so she can put you on the schedule to teach or to help with children up through grade 6.

Ladies Scrapbooking Night
... Save Wed., Aug. 30, 3:30–8:00 PM, to do some scrapbooking at FAC! Organize pictures NOW which you would like to use and have fun putting them in a keepsake book!  Further details forthcoming.

Financial Peace University
... This isn’t your typical “money class.”  Financial Peace University is practical, entertaining, and fun!  Whether you’re struggling to make ends meet or you’re a millionaire, FPU has something for you.  FPU is based on more than 800 verses of Scripture and is a proven plan that will work for you.  If there is interest in taking these classes, they will be offered this fall with facilitators Mike and Diane Tallents.  Please let us know if you are interested by putting a note on your Welcome card, calling the office at 315-593-6842, or emailing ginni@fultonalliance.org

 Shepherding Lunch
... These lunches provide a way for the shepherding elder to be in contact with the people in his group.  On Sun., August 13, 4 elders will host their groups (2  postponed from June) for a covered dish lunch in the Fellowship Hall -  Vern Bishop, Bryan Cleaveland, Joe Kulle, and Jim Smith.
Take note of this twist when thinking of a dish to share -  bring something  that begins with the first letter of your last name!! (ex: Adams could bring apple pie, asparagus; Browns - bread, brownies, Cantons - carrots, casserole. etc. ). Be creative and have fun with it!
People in these groups should RSVP to their elder or email the office (ginni@fultonalliance.org) by Aug. 6. If you are new to FAC, you are invited to join these groups for lunch on Aug. 13.
